I was awarded a 1st in BA(Hons) Graphic Design: New Media Degree at the Epsom campus of The University College of the Creative Arts.
Here I majored in illustration and had the opportunity to develop a style which reflects my interest in the grotesque, surrealism and black comedy. I like playing with people’s emotions, notions of reality, and the idea of taboos. My images are vibrant, symbolic / shambolic bold vector illustrations, hopefully they speak for themselves.
My 'Self Portrait' illustration project won first prize in its category in the 2008 'D&AD Student Awards'. This work was also featured in the 'D&AD New Blood Design 2008' exhibition and part of a presentation I gave at 'Pecha Kucha'.

"Quality, humour, perverseness, gleefulness and risk." Paul Davis, Paul Davis Studio
"Humour, exection and originality made the winner stand out. I felt it was clear and concise and commercial despite the subject matter." Katy Baggott, Katy Baggott Ltd
